Recurred Swelling And Soreness In Head. History Of Passing Out And Hitting Back Of Head On Cement Followed By Large Lump. Cat Scan Showed Concussion. Advice

I passed out & hit the back of my head on cement about 6 weeks ago. Had a softball sized lump for a couple of days. Went to ER 2 days after, had a cat scan done & they said it was a concussion. Lump went down to golfball size then finally left after about 2 weeks, although it felt like there was a hole at the site. Now it is swelling up again & sore.

Thank you for the query.I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. The symptoms you have mentioned are due to concussion as your treating doctor said and people from concussion will recover fully and it is only temporary. But as you have mentioned about the recurrence of the swelling I think that there must be a local infection and you need to shown that to your treating doctor again so that they will do the possible help according to the swelling.
