Recurring Itchy, Sore Bumps And Rashes Feeling Like Scabs. Is This Serious?
I was taking a bath a week ago, and while bathing, I developed a few bumps that hurt and a rash that would be about the size of a dessert plate. It was very sore and itchy (I didn t itch it), and if I got water on it, it would sting. After a week, the bumps disappeared, as well as the rash, but now it feels like a scab. This has happened a few times always in the same spot ... just above my tailbone. Should I be alarmed?
Hi, with this presentation, I think it is a benign skin disease called Pityriasis rosea of Gibert. It has the characteristics of appearing and spontaneously disappearing without treatment. Generally, it does not itch but at times you might have mild itches. In my opinion, I do not think you need to worry much. I hope I have answered your query I wish you good health
