i have taken 1 i.pill in a month for 2 consecutive months, since i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, first time it was only one week prior to my cycle, and normally i got it, but second month it was one week after finishing my bleeding , and again i got blood after 4 days, now had finished my abnormal bleeding, in 6 days, and getting again another cycle, pliz help me whats wrong with me?
Hi dear user, thanks for your query. This type of irregular bleeding is usually because of your emergency contraception. The cycles should become normal in 1-2 months. But you should also rule out pregnancy with urine / blood test( serum beta HCG levels) and an ultrasound of uterus. If all that comes negative, then go for a routine contraception instead of using an emergency method repeatedly.
