Red Blood Lines On Skin, Develop And Vanish, No Pain Or Itching. What Is It?
helo doc.from april 2013 ,i found strange red blood lines under my skin,back side,mostly on left side and rarely on right side.it develops suddenly and vanishes within 2 days and again come and vanishes.what is it doc? really tensed.m a married women..nw we are planning to have a baby. will it be a problem?the lines never itched or pain..plz help me doc...i also cosumed ayuvedic medicine to purify my blood.but no use

It appears from your query that you have a problem of "dermographism" in which the skin becomes raised and inflamed when rubbed, stroked and scratched trivially also. This is a common and simple problem of your age group (you must be between 20-30 years). This is caused by the breaking of a cell "mast cells" under the of skin surface by which a chemical is released causing the skin to swell in the affected areas. In most of the cases it is not found that what is the exact cause of mast cell breakage. This remains for few hours only but in your case as you said remains for around two days. This can be treated very well with antihistamine drugs taken under medical advice. There is no problem in planning the baby as it do not hamper that process.
