Remedy For Bruising In Between The Toes On Right Foot In A 84 Year Old

my mom is 84 and has unexplained bruising in between the toes on her right foot. This is the fourth day and it appears to be worse today. The bruise is not tender to the touch and is not swollen. She takes medication for PAD, blood pressure medication.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. As she is suffering from PAD, dry gangrene needs to be ruled out. Another possible cause could be vasculitis, due to friable blood vessels.
2. Meet your doctor to get it evaluated with Doppler and physical examination.
3. If gangarene, excision might be necessary to prevent infection.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
