Reoccurring Lumps Inside Vagina, Painful, Itchy. What Could It Be?

Hi, I keep getting these reoccurring lumps inside my vagina, the inner labia lips mostly. It s painful to touch and itches sometimes. Sometimes i feel swollen or inflamed down there, like swollen lymph noids I am assuming. I have had a pap smear before and have had my vagina looked at, but not when the bump/lumps was there I don t think. Like I said it reoccurs and sometimes wells my inner labia lips and bothers me when I walk. What could this be? I am very scared and anxious and almost obsessive about it.

Hello ma'am.

The appearance of lumps in yhe mentioned locatiin can be linked to a number of conditions, but what differentiates them is the specific type of lump, consistency, appearance, palpable characteristics, etc.

Which is why only a doctor can accurately diagnose the cause for these lumps, for which you will have to visit a doctor.

The possibilities range from herpes, human pappilomavirus (HPV), simple cysts, different types of warts, Bartholin's cyst, etc.

Please visit your doctor for a physical examination along with laboratory investogations to support the diagnosis.

In the meantime, please abstain from all forms of sexual contact and do not irritate the region. Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
