Safe To Take Pain Killers Like Methadone And Oxycodone While Breastfeeding?

Hello! I take methadone and sometimes oxycodone for pain. I am breast feeding. Everything I have read says its fine. I am trying to get into some chats with other woman to hear their observations. It just seems to good to be true to me that I can successfully kill manage my pain and breast feed at the same time! Also what do you think about milk thistle for my liver?

Hi there ~

Yes, milk thistle is useful for the liver as the active ingredient in this natural product is silymarin which has been researched to be good for the liver. I also think that you can manage your pain as well as breast feed your baby at the same time. I would advice you to not over medicate yourself for the pain, however.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
