Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Constipation usually is a symptom of some condition. So clearing your intestines will only solve the symptom, but it wont give an answer why this situation has appeared.
The most common reasons of constipation are bad diet (low fiber intake, low mineral water intake), chronic intestine infection, thyroid diseases, medicines (anti-depressants, Ca-blockers) or even colon cancer.
If you are over the age of 50, colon cancer should be ruled out at first. To do that, colonoscopy should be done. If you are a young person, FOBT (fecal occult blood test) should be enough. You should also have blood work, abdominal ultrasound, thyroid test and stool tests done.

Increase fiber rich products, mineral water intake and physical activity.
Most of laxative medicines are on prescription so doctors visit seems necessary.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
