Severe Food Poisoning, Loss Of Appetite, Sour Burps. Cure For Symptoms?
Hello! I was diagnosed with severe food poisoning last Wednesday (the symptoms started Tuesday evening) and still haven t recovered. I m not able to eat very much and have been suffering from sour stomach and sour burps. It has become pretty intolerable, is there anything I can take or try that I might have in my home to deal with it tonight? I m 20 years old and 124 lbs.
The treatment of your condition includes antibiotic coverage (eg. ofloxacin), a probiotic (eg. G-NORM) and antacids. I hope all of these have been prescribed to you, as this is the optimal treatment.
Also, different people respond to antibiotics in a different way, and if the antibiotics prescribed to you are not helping (it should show an effect within 24 hours of initiation of therapy), you should consult your doctor for a change in medication.
In the meantime avoid oily, fried food, etc. A simple diet with minimal spices and oil would avoid irritation of your stomach.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
