Severe Itching And Burning Sensation In Vagina. Consulting The Doctor Necessary Before Using Monistat 3 Cream?

Hi doctor,
I bought Monistat 3 because I have itching and burning but the instruction says that if this symptom happened for the first time it's better to see the doctor before using it. So my question is - is it dangerous to use it without seeing my doctor or it may just not work if my doctor did not diagnos the yeast? the thing is that it will take awhile to see my doctor but the itching and burning is unbearable.

Hi,
Do not go for self medication and particularly when taking for the first time.
Some times it produces more harm then relief.
Consult your doctor and get examined and let him take decision for any treatment.
