Shall I Stop Taking Procefzil After Taking Azithromycine?
Hi, my doctor prescribed me Azithromycine to treat my cough. On day 3, and as the treatment doesn t work, he prescribed me Procefzil to treat my sore throat. I started procefzil 15 hours after the last tablet of azithromycine. Or, I ve read that there is drug interaction between aminoglycoside antibiotics (azithro) and procefzil (nephrotoxicity). Shall I stop procefzil? I have taken only once. Best regards;

Since you completed the course of the azithromycin before starting the other medication, you are not likely to have any interaction at all.
