I am a 63 yr old male. I have had pain on the right side of my pubic bone for 3 days now. When relaxed (seated) it is dull but sensitive to thumb pressure directly over the top of the pubic bone- right side. It is very sharp and radiates into the top of my right leg and also into mylower back when I try to sit up or rotate from my back to my side in bed, bend forward while sitting, and occasionally while walking. I have no nausea, vomiting or other digestive symptoms, no urinary tract symptoms. I have pain in my lower back on some movements as well, although this may be secondary and due to the odd movements I now make to turn over in bed or get to a standing position. I would suspect a muscle pull, althoght I can remember nothing that I have done recently by way of exercise or lifting that might have precipitated it. Can I (how can I) rule out hernia? Probably irrelevant, but I had a robotic prostatectomy 3 years ago. Zero PSA since then.
