Should I Get Examined If My Xiphoid Process Is Large And Tender?
My xiphoid process is large and tender. If I lie on my back, it sticks out and is the size of a miss-shapen peach. It is tender to pressure. Is this anything I need to have examined? Is there something I can do besides taking NSAIDs, which I cannot take, to reduce the inflammation? Thank you!

A large and tender Xiphoid process needs to be examined for any abnormal growths or any evidence of inflammation. You can do a hot compress in the area to reduce inflammation.
