Should I Go For Second Colloid Cyst Operation When Suffering From Last Surgery Side Effect?

Hello and Good day I have previously had colloid cyst operation in 2005 which left me with cognitive difficulties. The cyst is back and currently 17.1 mm in size. I have issues with my memory and with fatigue (my muscles ache all over). I wonder if it was worth having a second operation given the side effects I still suffer from the last surgery? thank you.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

A second operation may be required for this condition, and there will be always minor side effects.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
