Should I Go To The Hospital For A Lump On The Knee Cap With Bruising Around It And Lot Of Pain?

Hi, 3 days ago I fell over onto a hard dancefloor, my knee got the full impact and now on the right next to my kneecap is a lump which has bruising around it, a lot of pain also generates if i put any pressure onto my kneecap. Does this sound like something I would need to go to the hospital for?

Lump , bruising and severe pain in knee cap after injury indicate seriousness of the injury. it might be due to ligament injury or soft tissue injury in the knee region. My recommendation would be you consult orthopedician with x ray of the knee in AP and lateral view for further management.
