Should A Painful Lump Caused By Trauma Be Treated?

Hi a week ago I slammed into a wall at a restaurant I worked at while in too much of a hurry. It was extremely painful at first. It feels better, just hurts to touch with large bruise but as bruise is fading doticed lump size of pencil eraser a little sore on my bicep. Should I be concerned?

Hello,

This lump could be related to local inflammation. I don't think that there is any need of medical attention. I recommend using locally ice packs and avoid a second trauma.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
