Should Diet Be Altered After Quadruple Bypass To Deal With Tiredness?

Thanks my mother is 75 yes old and she was constantly tired and sleepy. Took her to the hospital and they said she has a critic anemia (5) was her count. Also she is always short of breath. She had a quadruple bypass i 2005. What can I change on her diat?

hi, her haemoglobin is too low. The problem she is having is due to too low haemoglobin. Ideally she needs blood transfusion, atleast haemoglobin level should be between 8-9 gms/dl. When this level is achieved she can be put on injectable/oral haematinics and supplemented by iron rich foods.
