Should I Be Concerned As I Have A Small Clear Mole Like Bump On My Toe?

I have a small clear mole like bump that has appeared on top of my big toe right below my nail. It does not hurt; however, it appeared several months ago and I was wondering if i should be concerned. Several years ago I did lose this toenail in an accident and the nail has been growing back but with discoloration which is slowly growing out over time. The clear small raised bump showed up several months ago and is located just below this nail.

Hello,

Possibility of a corn or molliscum must be considered. It will be better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. If the lesion looks suspicious, a biopsy may be required.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
