Should I Be Worried About Giving Double Dose Of Advil To My Child?

hi doctor thank you for your help.my son has a fever 39 and I he is 5 years old and 19 kg. he used to drink Advil for children without and problem. I accidentally give him 20 mg ( double dose ). he is ok right now after 30 min. is that anything I can do? thanks

The normal dosage for 19 kg child is 150 mg, i assume you have given 200(not 20 mg as you have mentioned). There is definitely no cause fo concern.
It is unlikely to be harmful.
