Should I Continue Giving Citralka And Ofloxacin Syrup For My Child As He Is Having Burning While Urination?

Dear Sir,

Good Morning,
My son (3 yrs old) having urine infection since yesterday morning and whenever he is going to discharge urine he is facing some irritation and feeling like burning.

I am giving him Citralka Liquid 5ml with adding water in that. Also my Dr. suggested to give Ofloxacin Oral Suspention 50 rediuse (Cipla) 5 ml.

Today morning his burning little reduced but after some time again feeling burning.

Please suggest if I need to continue both syrup today also.

Hi,
Yes you need to continue this till the full course of antibiotic (ofloxacin) is given as the citralka increases the availability of drug in the urinary tract and help in faster recovery.
