Should We Switch From Advent To Clavam To Treat Fever In A Child?

Hi my child is one and half year old he had fever on 24 Dec, I tookporthim to doctor they advised advent 228.5 mg and after completing course fever continues he was admitted to hospital on 30 Dec ; and doctors put him on clavam 625 blood report not yet come.

I read your question very carefully.

Advent and Clavam are the same medicine but they are different trade names. Both are Amoxicillin+Clavulanic acid.
But based on your child age and weight, I think that Advent 228.5mg is more suitable, because Clavam 625mg is a dosage for adults.
So I think you should give him Advent 228.5 mg.
