Simple Dysuria,frequent Urination. Taking Citric Acid. Affected By E.coli And Taken Levofloxacin. Suggestion?
simple dysuria with few blood at the end of urine and frequent urination of a 26 years old lactating mother. Patient taking citric acid liquid now. one year ago she was affected by e.coli and taken levofloxacin as per c/s report then few months later she was getting pregnant at this time she was affected by fungi yeast at the urine passage and was taken sertaconazole pessary and was getting cure from it then delivered a live boy baby now at 8 months old by L.U.C.S at term, now the problem arise againwhich i mentioned at first . may i treat it as an u.t.i or vaginitis where no itching occurs frequently but incontinence is still.
Hello, Thanks for posting your query. It is quite possible to have urinary tract infection along with vaginitis. Let her to get investigated for urine routine & culture sensitivity & high vaginal swab culture. Then give her proper antibiotics according to causative agent. Take care
