Slight Delayed Reaction In Muscular Movement. What Is The Clinical Name For This Condition?
Hi, my oldest son(6) is slightly delayed in his muscular movement. I don t remember what the clinical name for it is but I thought my wife told me it was affasia. An example of his condition, if I were to throw a pitch to him, his brain would say, swing , but his arms wait a bit too long before he actually swings. Is affasia the name of this condition and can a young child grow out of it?

Slight Delayed Reaction In Muscular Movement. What Is The Clinical Name For This Condition?
Hi, Thank you for your query. Aphasia is loss of voice and not delayed muscular movement. What you describe for your son is a coordination issue. With training the child should be able to overcome it. I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction. Wishing your son all the best. Regards, RKK
