Slightly Swollen Right Foot, Tender Around Little Toe With Small Cut Oozing Sticky Fluid On Pressure. Remedy?
My right foot is slightly swollen and tender around the little toe. There s also a small cut on my toe that seeps a clear, sticky fluid when I apply pressure. I m not sure how I hurt it initially, but I kicked a chair this morning and it made the swelling a little worse. I work in steel toe boots and would like to know is there anything I can do that will fix the problem before it gets worse. Thank you in advance! :)
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having some fungal or bacterial infection producing swelling and having sticky discharge. But now due to injury it is possible that you might be having soft tissue damage or even fracture of toe bone producing condition more worse. Go for x-ray of toe. Go for one antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course. Apply antibiotic cream after proper cleaning of wound. Ok and take care.
