Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for your query,
The common cause of eosinophilia is due to worm infestation and tropical pulmonary eosinophilia due to microfilarial etiology.
Banocide is give thrice daily and for only 12 to 21 days only.
Monticope is given in the dose of 4 mg and once daily only at bedtime, and can be given for 6 months if indicated.
Continue the medication as advised by your Pediatrician and in appropriate dose and duration.
But be in regular follow up while on treatment with banocide for first 1 week to look for any side effects.
Hope I have answered your query.
