Small Child, Viral Fever, Cold, Cough. Taking Calpol, Loose Stools, Prescribed Darolac. How To Prepare This Sachet?
My 4 yr old daughter is recovering from viral infection, cold & cough , for which I was giving her calpol 250 mg, ibugesic, ambrolite & cetzine as & when required. She has now developed loose motions today, & my doctor had recommended taking darolac twice a day for this. I am not sure how to prepare the sachet. Pls guide.

Darolac is a probiotic sachet. Mix one sachet in 20 ml of water and give her one packet twice daily for 5 days.
Please avoid ibugesic at all costs.

Your child is having diarrhea which is mostly viral in nature and will subside in few days.
Darolac is probiotic and it is to be prepared in 5 to 6 spoons of boiled water and given 2 times a day.
In addition given oral rehydration solution sip by sip after each loose stool.

Darolac sachet contains lactobacillus which helps in maintaining gut flora lost due to diarrhea.
You can give it by mixing one sachet in quarter to half cup of boiled and then cooled water. You can also mix it in milk.
