Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have doubt about the length and girth of your penis.

There are no defined standards for length of the penis in relation to age. However penis of a length of 3 inches in flaccid state is considered normal.

Please consult qualified Urologist for assessment and to confirm whether you have realy a small penis or not,
as regards your growth consult qualified Endocrinologist for detail evaluation and further treatment if required,
Dr.Patil.

General & Family Physician Dr. Shoaib Khan's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

I can understand your worry, but please be assured and listen to the factual information I am about to provide to you.

First of all, the myth about 'size matters' is untrue. A woman's vagina is very sensitive, and thus the penis has to penetrate it to provide a woman with satisfaction. But the sensitive part of a woman's vagina is only about 3 inches deep, and thus, a penis of 3 inch size can also provide as much satisfaction to a woman as a penis 6 inches or more in size can provide. The deeper the penis goes, does not make much of a difference.

The average Indian male has a penis of about 6 inches in size. But, from the above information, if your penis is more than 3 inches in size, it is more than sufficient. The only added advantage a longer/larger penis would have is to deliver the semen deeper inside, for better results in conceiving. But, this is not a major problem, as many maneuvers are present to tackle this problem. So please stop worrying about this.

Now coming to your concern of premature ejaculation. Majority of males complaining of premature ejaculation (early ejaculation) have what we call 'performance anxiety'. This anxiety that a male experiences is due to the worry about whether or not they can perform well during sexual intercourse. Most males with this problem do not have much experience with sexual intercourse and thus face this problem. But trust me, have confidence in yourself, and aim high. Not only this, but with experience sexual intercourse only gets better. So please do not worry about this either.

As for your health, you could calculate your BMI, and see where you stand (i.e. under-weight, healthy, pre-obese, obese), and write back to me. I shall then advice you on your weight. If you do not know how to calculate your BMI, provide me your height in centimeters and your weight in kilograms, and I shall explain and calculate it for you.

Do not worry, I am sure you are fine and will have a great married life.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
