Small Red Pimple On Face Turning Out Red Ulcer When Scratched, Bumpy Scabs Over Pimples. On Heavily On Ice Or Meth. Suggest
I'm really worried about my friend
She is heavily on ice or it may be called meth?? Not too sure she calls it ice though she has stayed on it for days her face broke out in wat looks like impetigo????
Starts like small red pimple the if she sratches it turns to like red ulcer wit white strings in the middle of the red ulcer & somehow now her whole face is covered wit them & they continue to appear as long as she keeps try to scratch out those white strings as soon as she scrapes those white stings immediately another one will appear some of them have a bumpy scab on them and if she scratches it off those white strings are there
What is it ?
Is it from the drug? If not what is from
How can she treat it?
Will it stay like this permanently or Will it go away?
How can she prevent it?
Will it keep reoccurring
Nothing has happened like this before to her as far as I'm aware?
She use to be a nurse now she isike a shell of her self & depressed all the time
This might sound shallow but I visit her most days for few hours
Is it contagious ?? Cud I get it from her ? Cos it looks really scary & somethin that looks difficult to fix
Is it life threatening???
Please please your answers wud be greatly appreciated & any suggestions to help her get sober won't listen to any one or go to rehab

Hi,
Pimples are the normal youth related problem which are seen before the age of 25 years. If you are below 25 years then it is normal thing. You can apply clindamycin gel and take doxycycline 100 mg once day by mouth for 1 month. as a maintenance therapy to reduce the recurrence of pimples under dermatological guidance.
Do not pinch, pop or squeeze any lesion as it can cause scarring.
