Strong Pain From Outer Side Of Thighs, Pelvic Bone. History Of Haevy Work Lifting Loads. Treatment?
i have been having strong pains from the outer side of my thighs or pelvic bone. This happened after i spent about 7hrs heavy work lifting and carrying loads. Now, when i try to sit or stand, the pain is so strong. How can i have it treated? or could this be a symptom of other possible diseases? btw, i am 46 yrs of age. Thk you for your kind assistance. Frederik
As per the description , I feel that the cause of your symptoms is GLUTEAL STRAIN producing pain in the pelvic area and outside of thighs.
These symptoms could not be related to any other disease as you have developed the symptoms following an unaccustomed strain of activity.
The general guidelines of treatment are as follows -
* Rest to the injured part and dont involve in activities which puts additional strain on the injured muscles. * Ice packing should be applied for about 20 minutes once in every 2 hours. * Once the acute pain subsides, moist heat is applied to relax the muscles * Analgesics and muscle relaxant gel application
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
