Sudden Appearance Of Shallow Lump On Upper Left Quadrant Of The Back. Should I Worry ?
My neighbor just brought her almost 3 year old son over asking about the sudden appearance of a rather large (in area) but relatively shallow lump on the upper left quadrant of his back. She did not see it last night or this morning (and she is a very observant mother). There is no discoloration, no evidence of bite marks (even under a magnifying glass), no warmth to it and the child says it does not hurt. Of course, as a young mother she is concerned but we told her to just watch him and call her doctor tomorrow. Since I ran into your website, I decided to submit the query. Thank you

As it appears suddenly, there might be having some allergic rash.
give him Benadryl or Cetrizine stat.
He will be alright tomorrow.
If lesion persisted, consult your doctor and get examined.
