Suffer From Headaches, Gastric Problems. Due To Long Hours In Front Of The Computer? Advised To Take Maxima. Any Side Effects?

Hello Sir,
I am Abdullah Al Mamun from bangladesh. Recently i am having headache usually at the back right part of the head. The pain strikes at no particular pattern but usually at the end of the office hour it appears. I have some gastric problem in past and still it persists so can my gastric problem be the cause of this headache or since i need to work in a pc for long hours, it is due to eye problem. For gastric problem i was advised Maxima 20 mg (Omeprazole BP 20 mg) in past and at present if I take it, my gastric problems reduces, should I take it regularly? does it have any adverse consequence in the long run?

Hi,
It seems that your headache might be due to eye strain due to sitting in front of computer for hours together.
While on computer, take some break for some time like closing your eyes and relax or take some round in the office for a while.
There is also a possibility of having refraction of error might require spects.
Sitting on computer for long time and lack od physical activity may give rise to some gastric problem as well.
Do daily physical exercise for 20-30 minutes daily, 5 days in a week.
You may take Omiprazole as and when require.
Avoid prolong use of this medicine.
