Suffering From Cough. Had Bronchitis. Getting Odor Like Dry Blood While Coughing. Reason?

I have a cough which is deep like the one I had last year when I had bronchitis . When I cough, there is an odor and a taste like dried blood, but no blood is visible. I do cough up a greenish sputum . Also, sputum seems to get trapped at the upper part of my throat, just above the tongue even when I am not congested. I do not feel ill and do not have a fever.

Hello,
You have greenish sputum then you must get done a chest x ray done and get the chest examination done by doctor as there is most probably infection inside and which need to be treated.
You may require antibiotics and mucolytic medication
If you smoke stop smoking.
There could be only bronchitis for which you may require steroids so that the inflammation settles down.
in doubt do reply
