Suffering From Dysentry, Vomiting All ORS. No Relief From PowerGyl. Medication, Its Dosage?

We are in Dharamshaala (HP, India) and my son has got very bad dysentery, he was also vomiting a lot yesterday. He has not eaten anything since the last 30 hrs and has been vomiting away all the ORS that he was given. the local pharmacist gave PowerGyl, but that has not had any effect. Our doctor back home recommended Vizylac (or something like that), Can you recommend the right medicine and dosage

Hi, it appears that it is due to viral infection, and it may take minimum 3 or 4 days in the mean while you should see that there will be no dehydration, means he should be given infusion of fluids.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe ofloxacin syp, domperidone syp , and dicyclomine drops, and lactic acid bacilli powder.
Thank you.
