General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Gout is a disease associated with eating a lot of red meat and shellfish. So, I recommend avoiding this type of food.

I recommend eating low-fat and non-dairy fat products, like yogurt and skim milk, fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, and grains.

I also recommend drinking lots of fluids – 8 to 16 cups a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
