Suggest Cause And Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Right Knee

there is pain on top of my right knee.this pain comes all of a sudden especially while going down the stairs.few days back a bruise appeared at the top of the knee with swelling without a reason.the pain is still there.what could be the cause and treatment.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be hematoma due to injury.

For that, you may require aspiration after orthopedician consultation.

For pain, you can take tablet acetaminophen. Do hot compressions.

Restrict your movements. Use support while walking.
