plzz suggest me about a diet to quickly recover from typhoid.. i started taking azithromycin since 2 days (750 mg once daily) in the morning time 1 hour before meal. i am having my final exams after 12 days.. will u plz suggest how can i recover sooner??
1.You should be consuming plenty of liquids or soft carbohydrate diet.Try to have lots of vegetable soups and juices. 2.After you recover from fever and weakness eat lots of protein rich foods such as Khichdi, mix dal pancakes, boiled eggs, paneer parathas, shreeded chicken sandwich so that the tissue loss can be compensated. 3. Honey and glucose powder can be mixed with water/juices so that you do not feel weak and should be consumed at regular intervals. 4. Avoid spicy foods and butter/ghee. 5.Consume atleast 2000 calories diet with soft cooked foods such as mashed potatoes,Rava porridge if there is no diarrhoea, upma, soft cooked vegetables, bananas.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.Wish you good health.
