hi, my kid has fever, cough,runny nose. his blood works reveal WBC 3.68 lower limit is 4.5 - hematocrit is 37.7 lower limit is 40 - hemoglobin 12.5 - lower limit is13.5. he was prescribed an antibiotic, but the pedia says he has flu. is this right? thank you

Yes the child is suffering with RTI, which is very common in kids.
May be treated with antihistaminc and decongestant drug.
