Suggest Medication For Nasal Congestion,itchiness In Ears And Throat Pain

Hi Doctor,
My name is Sushma. I am here to request information regarding my mother who is 51 yrs old living in Andhra Pradesh. She has been suffering from Allergies from past 7 yrs. Now, she is suffering a lot from past few months. Her issues with health are -
Nasal congestion, one side of head aches in the back, runny nose, watery and itchy ears, aching eyes, nausea, drowsiness, little pain in the throat.

Based on her experience, I believe she has allergies and sensitive to paint smell.

Please suggest me to help solve her issues.

As per your query you have symptoms of nasal congestion,itchiness in ears and throat pain which is because of viral infection/ upper respiratory infection. Such symptoms can also occur due allergic reaction. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles three times daily. You should take hot milk boiled with half a teaspoon of turmeric. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may order blood tests and x-ray chest. Doctor may order pulmonary function tests to detect level of infection. Drink lukewarm water on daily basis. Taking decongestant nasal spray can also be relieving. If you feel pain and discomfort in body or throat taking painkillers like Ibuprofen Or Paracetamol can be relieving.
