Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to a cervical or thoracal disc herniation, which is causing radicular nerve pain in this region. Another possible cause to consider would be the heart. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests:
- A resting ECG
- A chest X-Ray study
- A cervical and thoracal spine X ray study, followed by a MRI if necessary.

An exercise cardiac stress test would help to definitely exclude any possible cardiac disorders.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
