Suggest Medication For Thyroid

Hi this is barkha I had a query that my mother id having thyroid her TSH is 6.5 and T4 is 5.1she is going for tablets thyronorm100 is that ok and also that my cousin is also suffering from the same but her TSH is 20 what are your suggestions regarding both the cases

Hi ,
The medication for your mother will have to be increased to T.Thyroxine 125 mic . She will need to recheck her TSH after 3 months .

TSH of 20 is high . So patient needs to be assessed for symptoms of hypothyroidism and started on T.Eltroxin. Needs to ne on 3 monthly follow up after the same.
