Suggest Medicine Better Than Desval Er

I am suffering with Primary epilepsy since 2005.Currently am taking Desval Er 1000mg. I dont knw when i will get over with this.I am a computer Professional.Actually,In market this medicine will not be available from next yr.But I have to take these medicines for 2 yrs as am going to study abroad.Hence Doctor prescribed another Medicine of same salt.So can u suggest me any medicine better than Desval Er. (Ranbaxy).I am very thankful to you.

Desval er is thr brand name for divalproex.Divalrate Er,Depakote Xr are some of the alternatives for Desval Er and can taken after getting a new prescription from a physician.
