Suggest Methods To Lose Weight

My doctor is concerned with my weight loss after my stroke. I am taking exercise classes to help get rid of my numbness. I went down from waist size from 44 to 36 during the first year after my stroke.

I am a light eater and haven't lost any more weight this year.

Any suggestions?

Hello,
I don't have all the details, but since your wt. loss has stabilized, I would monitor if you were in my clinic. Body weight around the waist is not healthy.
Of all the fat distributions, fat around the waist has a detrimental metabolic effect on the cardiac status. A waist size of 36 is not too small. Please stop worrying and just continue to eat healthy, exercise and monitor. Thank you for visiting HCM. Kathy Shattler, MS,RDN
