Suggest Remedies For Recurrent Rashes With Swelling And Pain In Toes

hi, i am a 29 yr old male, six foot four and 210 pounds, I have had problems for over 2 months now, it started with what i thought was poison ivy, this covered pretty much my entire body, i was put on a steriod pack and told to take benedryll and allegra, this knocked the rash down but came back, i then went to another doctor who also put my on steriods, again knocked down but came back, then one more dose, with same results, i then started to get burning and painful rashes on my stomach and pimple like bumps on my chest. i was then given a dose of steriods and antibiotics which helped but again came back. then the rash pretty much went away except the pimple like ones, and i became very fatiqued, moody , i now have swollen glands and tonsils , the pimples are all over my chest, shoulders and back. i am dizzy, extremely tired all the time and now have joint and muscle pain, with a rash on the tops of my feet and big toes are red and aching. I was bit by a tick the same time this all started and recently tested for limes disease and mono (had blood test done all came back normal today) they put me on doxycyline while waiting and told me to continue anyway. I have gotten no better, in fact worse and ive been on that for four days now. please help me, thanks so much

Hello,

Recurrence commonly occurs when proper hygiene is not being maintained. Maintain good hygiene, take bath regularly, wear loose fitting cotton clothes. Do not share your clothes and toiletries with anyone. Make sure you do not eat food that triggers your symptoms. Identify food that causes recurrence. Do not take it. In cases of skin infection, it is better not to take fishes and sea food. Prefer to take boiled food over fried food for a couple of days. Avoid taking spicy, oily junk food. Do not take processed or packaged food.

Take vegetarian food and plant-based protein for a couple of days till the infection is under control. Take antihistamine at bedtime, this will help to control the symptoms of allergy. Get allergy tests done, get tests for STI and shingles done. You will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. Since you have joint pain associated with rashes, it could be indicative of Arthritis rashes with joint pain. Get tests for RA, urticaria and neutrophilic dermatoses done.

You will be accordingly treated. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Take naproxen, one stat and when needed after food to get rid of pain, soreness, and inflammation. Get examined by a dermatologist. Take home-made nutritious and balanced food. You can take supplements. Since you are feeling dizzy, stay well hydrated and do not skip meals. Stay at rest, do not drive, do not do any heavy work for a few days till you feel better.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
