Suggest Remedy For A Tic Disorder

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible for me to have got to the age of 27 years old without knowing I have tourette or some other sort of tic disorder. The reason I ask is I went to talk to a conceder friend of mine because I had a episode were I could not control my head movement and I was unable to speak for awhile when I got into a stressful spot that lasted about three hours. It had never happened to me before. She asked me questions about when I was a kid and I realized in had a tic that I didn’t know that that what it could have been. Ever scenes I was 13 or so I have this feeling in the back of my neck that makes my head jerk real fast to the left. I always thought it was like a cold chill response or something but noticed other people noticing it so I always hid it by acting like imp popping my neck. I didn’t know what tics were I just thought it was normal but never asked anybody because I was embarrassed. I have noticed that the feeling in back of my neck is more frequent now instead of about three times a week it happens about six or seven times a day now and scence the three hour episode I have had two more that ranged from an hour to three hours.
