Suggest Remedy For Anal Ulcer With No Help From Prescribed Creams

Hi there during they day my husband was told by a doctor that he got anal uncler he gave a cream but applying that has not made a different since he sat in warm water the pain as gone worse he can t sit lay at all he s got a slight temp nw dnt knw what to do rang Nhs the said just keep applying the cream and a&e says they busy as we ll the pain is so bad what can help for the pain

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your husband that he has got an ulcer at the anus, was given the cream and sat in warm water but the pain increased, a&e says they are busy, ringing NHS say keep applying the the cream, but the pain is so bad...
As per the history you have given this looks to be an infected fissure in ano.
I would advise you the following:
Give him Ibuprofen if it suits him.
Continue to sit in warm water, this is called Sitz bath.
Needs an antibiotic and metronidazole to control the infection.
Hence needs to see a Doctor to get a proper prescription.
