Dry mouth and bad breath after taking certain foods can either be due to allergic reaction or can also be due to acid reflux causing the reflux of acid from stomach to throat an mouth and can cause bad breath, foul taste in mouth as well as dry mouth..
You should consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and he/she can advise you to get an endoscopy done to confirm the cause of your problem so that a proper treatment can be done..
As of now you can gargle with a mouthwash that is formulated for dry mouth, chew sugarfree chewing gums, avoid taking food that aggravates the problem, drink plenty of water and take a light diet..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
