Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi, i am a 27 year old female. i've been having dull pain in my abdomen/sternum area for 5 weeks now. the ct scan was "normal" and the mri on my spine was "normal" as well. i started getting the pain 2 days after doing a yoga class and doing a backbend move that i felt stretch throughout my torso. at first i thought it was a pulled stomach muscle but it hasnt gotten better over the 5 weeks. i'm convinced it is a hernia. I do not have any symptons other than the constact dull ache and i have no issues with going to the bathroom and it doesnt hurt more/less with eating any type of food, no heartburn, nausea, etc. is it possible the hernia was missed on the ct? if not, any suggestions as to what it might be?
Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com I have evaluated your query in details .
* This is not hernia which is not going to be missed on CT scan . * Possibly ligament sprain . Local application of heating pad , analgesic tablets and rest will clear the issue .
Wishing you fine recovery . Feel free to ask any further doubts .
