Suggest Remedy For High Fever

My son is 2.3 yrs old. His weight is 11.5kg. Yesterday morning he had a fever that was not too high. I gave him Meftal-P, 2.5 ml 3 times. He was looking okay today morning. But at noon again he had a high fever, I wasnt sure about Meftal-P, so gave him crocin suspension. Now fever is reduced. But what I did (changed the medicine) is not correct. Pls advice now I should continue with which medicine + the antibiotic medicine.

Hi mam,
Since it is not a high grade fever, plain crocin will suffice. I don't know about other history of any cold or cough in the kid,. What I would suggest is please give the crocin every 6 he's once for next two days. If the fever continues then definitely you should visit your doctor. I wouldn't want to prescribe an antibiotic without knowing the source of infection.
Take care
