Suggest Remedy For Pain In Little Finger After Accident

I was in a car accident Saturday. My realized that myleft hand pinky started hurting a hr or two after the accident. The pain had decreased, but if I pushed my pinky to the left, it still hurts. As I am tying, it hurts slightly when I press the shift key to capatilze a letter. Do I need to go to see a doctor? I am a female. 5 foot 2. 150 pounds.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I have studied your case and I think that you might have a hair line fracture in the finger. I would suggest you to get x ray of the hand and confirm the diagnosis. It is safe as some time such injuries can cause fracture, it is more common in females as there bone are weaker.
I would also suggest you to show it to orthopaedic surgeon. He will applu buddy splint to your finger, in which finger is tied with ring finger. This will increase faster healing. Do not do any massage or rubbing. You should also take Brufen tablet .
