Suggest Remedy For Relieving From Continued Hiccups
Dear Sir/Madam,
My father is 78 years old he is suffering from continues hiccups for the past few years we have done endoscopy the Dr. said every think is normal and he has given some tablets. if my father stops the tables the hiccups is coming again. I request you to guide to stop permanently.
So you have to get it done ultrasound abdomen, renal function tests, liver function tests, Upper GI endoscopy.
Avoid alcohol and smoking. Use tablet baclofen 10 mg twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hello, Hiccups may be due to diaphragmatic contractions may be due to phrenic nerve irritation or it may be due to irritation of diaphragm seen in hepatitis or gastritis or appendicitis or cholecystitis or kidney or liver failure. So you have to get it done ultrasound abdomen, renal function tests, liver function tests, Upper GI endoscopy. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Use tablet baclofen 10 mg twice a day for five days.
